Virtual University visit

The VU is great public resource for online education in Pakistan which provides higher education programs through electronic media, typically the Internet. Our delegation met with VU management discussed matters of technical aspects regarding preparing of curriculum, delivering online education, removing access barriers, evaluation processes, studio recordings and other various matters about the quality of the curriculum product that the VU can offer online as well as the role of faculty in the continuous learning management. Our delegation conceived much useful knowledge to replicate in designing its future online educational programs, such as Halal Education Program shall be providing asynchronous learning which does not require real-time interaction instead, online education facility is provided to students to access. Use of technology for online education has continuously increased after the COVID-19 lockdown, students avail online learning live and in real-time supported by video conferencing solutions like Zoom, Go-to-Meeting and YouTube etc. Overall it was a very useful visit and our team appreciates the efforts and all the good work done by the studio and broadcasting department of Virtual University.
